I got an ergo

Well, my ergo baby carrier finally came in the mail today.  I bought it gently used off ebay.  Can't wait to try it out.  I might have to get a waist extender though, LOL.  Here's a pic of the one I got.

Update on baby #5

Last week I went to the er because I was cramping really bad and spotting.  They did another hcg level and it went up to 22,000 something from 9000 or so.  :)  Also, they did another ultrasound and I got to the see baby's heartbeat.  It was strong at 151.  I am officially due November 12, 2010.  I have strong feelings this little one is going to be a girl (I have been right with all 4 others), but only time will tell.   I am thinking of Dillon Joseph for a boy or Ava Renee if it's a girl.  Just thinking though.  My mom is coming up from Las Vegas to Oregon to visit the family in 2 days on Saturday, for a week.  I can't wait.  I am really close with her and miss her dearly.  It's a lot harder to travel with 4 kids then 1, that's for sure.  Well, I guess I will leave you with a good recipe.


corn & black bean salsa

1 can of black beans drained
16 oz. of corn (canned, frozen, even fresh)
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 cucumber (as much as you want, i used the whole thing), peeled & chopped
fresh cilantro (as much as you want), chopped
1 small bottle of kraft zesty! italian dressing

mix it all together, cover & let it chill in the fridge for about a 1/2 hour or so.
serve with chips or all by itself!

First OB appt tomorrow

I have my first OB appt tomorrow (Tuesday).  It's with a high-risk clinc.  Apparently, the first visit is at least 2 1/2 hours long.  I will see the nurse for an hour then the specialist for an hour.  I think they are going to do an ultrasound and see if they can see more than last week.  I hope so.  I don't really think I will miscarry.  I am not spotting or cramping anymore.  Sam and I are talking about names.  He jokingly said, I like Logan because of Wolverine.  LOL.  NOT!

Kids are sick again

All 3 little ones have runny noses and coughs again.  I think Jordan might still have his ear infection.  Not sure though.  I am feeling the nausea.  Drinking lots of ginger ale and eating ginger altoids.  LOL.  I am sure this little babe is a girl already.  :)

Just found out

Just found out this am that we are expecting baby #5.  Still in shock.  Really didn't think we were going to have anymore kids.  LOL.  I am blessed.  Definitely going to get tubes tied when I have my csection.  I hate the fact that I will have to have a c/s since Jordan was an emergency c/s.  All the local hospitals here won't let you try for a vag birth after c/s.  Oh well.   Life is good.
